IP Lookup

Find a domain’s IP address and its reverse DNS record.

Example: example.com

Shows the IP address(es) a domain resolves to, along with the reverse DNS (PTR) record for that IP.

What Is an IP Address?

An IP address is the unique network identifier of every device connected to the internet. When you visit a domain, the DNS system resolves that name to the server's IP address. A single domain can point to multiple IPs (for example, due to load balancing or a CDN).

How Does It Work?

The tool resolves the A records for the domain you enter and lists all of the returned IPs. It then runs a reverse DNS (PTR) query for the primary IP to show the server's host name. If you enter an IP address directly, only the PTR query is performed.

How to Use It

  1. Enter a domain name (ornek.com) or an IP address directly.
  2. Review the resolved IPs and the reverse DNS record.
Tip: If you use a service such as Cloudflare, the IP you see may belong to the CDN rather than to your actual server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I see more than one IP?

Load balancing, dual IPv4/IPv6 support, or CDN services such as Cloudflare can route a single domain to multiple IPs.

Why can't I see my real server IP?

If you are behind a proxy/CDN like Cloudflare, the CDN's IP is what's visible to the outside world; this is a feature designed to hide your server.
